Use the Find a Doctor tool to quickly find doctors, specialists, and locations that match your needs and your specific health plan. Start by entering your preferred location and selecting your plan to ensure accurate, personalized results. From there, you can search by provider name, specialty, condition, or keyword using the unified search bar, then sort and filter results to narrow your options. The guide below walks through each step of the process—from setting your location and plan to refining results and viewing provider or location details—so you can confidently find the care you’re looking for.

Search for Care

The example below shows how Search is displayed on a desktop device. The default recommended categories display their associated descriptions when the user hovers the pointer over the category.

If the user selects Dermatology, the search results include all providers and locations with specialties, clinical keywords, or areas of focus mapped to “Dermatology.”

Sorting Search Results

Users can sort the search results by options such as distance and alphabetical order.

Changing Location and Plan Selected

At any point during a user's search, they can manually change the location and/or plan used. 
Note: Choosing a different location or plan will begin a new search.

In the example below, an address has previously been set for the user and is displayed. To use a different location, clear the displayed address by clicking the icon and enter a new address.

Search Results

If a user performs a provider search with one result, that provider profile is displayed.

If two or more providers are found, the search results page displays instead of going directly to the provider’s profile, so that the user can select the correct provider.

Using Filters

The user can use filters when multiple results are returned to further limit the results produced.

Search Who Works Here

When a user has reached a location profile, they can search down a further level to see practitioners at that location.

Plans Accepted

When a user has reached a location profile, they can also see which health plans that location accepts.
