Our plans combine great health plan coverage and a wide variety of deductible and copayment options.

Provider Networks

Our plans feature our provider network with exceptional providers and hospitals that meet the high standards we set.

As part of a not-for-profit, integrated delivery system, Sentara Health plans has a unique approach to provider contracting. We offer a comprehensive network through partnerships with key hospitals, facilities, and providers. 

Sentara Individual & Family Health plans members have access to our entire provider network of primary care physicians, specialists, and hospitals. You can find participating providers using the provider search tool.

Plans are available across the entire Commonwealth of Virginia.

Other Coverage Options

Even if you are not eligible for one of our Sentara Individual & Family Health Plans, you might be eligible for one of our other coverage options including Medicaid, or individual health insurance plans for self-employed sole proprietors.

For most plans, virtual consults are at no charge when accessed through the member portal or mobile app. This is a separate benefit from telemedicine visits scheduled with a member's provider. Mental health and substance use disorder virtual consults may carry an additional charge.
